The iso files were made by LCISOCreator (www.lucersoft.com), OS : Windows XP.
No MD5 checksums. The disks were used, so maybe have damaged softwares.
The files were uploaded from my PC, OS : Windows XP SP3,
virus scanner : Avira Antivir Personal - Free Antivirus.
Please find the GPL Licence and other licence stuff in the distribution packages.
SUSE Linux Professional 9.0
Please read the licence notes of the package carefully.
The SUSE Professional 9.0 is comparable with Windows XP. Its speed good enough on a PII 400MHz 128MB PC.
It can install a full LAMP, Apache 1.3 and Apache2 either, plus phpmyadmin. Also has complete office and web development features.
Sorry to say, but these are already old stuffes. The LAMP has php4 and MySQL Server 3.23.
It is wrong idea to learn them because of the several compabiliy problems.
I bought the package in 2003, and used mainly for gaming. There are a lot of fun games in the package.
It is not a great idea to use the Windows-style text editors of the package such Kate.
For booting OS it was useful with GRUB. But now I use Mandrake Official 10.0 for this purpose,
because Mandrake Official 10.0 looks for me a little bit better for booting several systems and handle partitions either. (And fast.)
Anyway, the partition tool (part of YAST2) of SUSE Professional 9.0 is one of the best I ever used.
